I’ve had the great opportunity to speak to groups around the world on topics related to negotiation and dispute resolution but also on more generalizable topics such as career satisfaction and how to weather personal or professional adversity.
I’ve spoken at law firm and company retreats, to religious leaders in the Catholic and Episcopalian churches, to national industry conferences, and to national judiciaries such as the Supreme Court of Brazil and the Supreme Court of Korea.
Last Lecture Series
In 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2017, the graduating class selected me to be one of four Harvard Law School faculty members to deliver a Last Lecture to the class before graduation. The talks in 2016 and 2017 were recorded and can be found on YouTube.
HLS Thinks Big 2017

In the Spring of 2019 I was honored to deliver the Keynote Address at The Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution’s Symposium. The theme of the conference was, “The Future of ADR: Where Do We Go from Here?” It was a special opportunity to share my thoughts on the importance of Conflict Resilience in an age of polarization.
